Together we will journey through Portugal's Old World allure and New World splendor, exploring Lisbon and then heading north to Porto and the Duoro region, learning of Portugal's history, diverse wines, and vibrant culinary scenes. We'll visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites; make an official visit to Portugal's Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, or Parliament; explore the well-known Queluz and Pena Palaces; enjoy one of the world's most scenic drives along the Duoro River and continue deeper into the Duoro Wine Valley for a winery tour and a private river cruise; tour the city of Porto and learn about one of Portugal's most famous exports, port wine; visit the historic University of Coimbra with a famous library reminiscent of Hogwarts; and so much more!
Our program will also engage with local scholars, attorneys, academics, and artists offering poignant commentary on Portuguese and EU legal and political systems, international relations, art history, architecture, and religion, for 5-7 hours of anticipated CLE credit.
Litigation Section members and their adult guests are invited to join. Early bird registrations before March 15th receive a $150 discount per person. Space is limited, so reserve your spots early!
A handful of sponsorships will be made available to those who demonstrate a financial need. Please email Heather Sneddon at email@example.com privately if you are interested in applying for sponsorship assistance. Assistance will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't delay!
