Zen in Zion’s:
May 14, 2016 at the Cliffrose Lodge & Gardens in Springdale, Utah.
Come experience “Zen in Zion,” a family-friendly yoga and brunch event co-sponsored by the Litigation Section and the Utah Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in connection with the annual Southern Utah Federal Law Symposium. Zen in Zion will be held in the Lodge’s famous outdoor gardens, which feature sweeping panoramic views of Zion National Park. The event will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2016, and will begin at 9:00 a.m. with an outdoor yoga class in the gardens. Multiple yoga instructors will be in attendance to provide both group instruction and individual assistance, so the event will be enjoyable regardless of your experience level. Following the yoga class, brunch will be served, also in the gardens. Whether you come just for the event, or use it to kick off a day of exploring spectacular Zion National Park, Zen in Zion will be a great way to start your day and get to know other Litigation Section and Utah Federal Bar Association members and their families. The cost of attendance will be $10.00 per individual or $25.00 per family. Additional information and registration will soon be available on the Utah State Bar’s website.
Annual Meeting in Moab:
The Litigation Section Annual Meeting is June 10-11 in Moab. We will have CLE, a social reception on Friday night with the judges who have received the 2016 Judicial Excellence Award and recreational activities on Saturday. This year, we’re starting a new tradition and will be presenting a trophy to one of our fellow litigators (think Stanley Cup for attorneys). Networking and CLE can be fun!
